Mike And The Moonpies

Popular Americana band Mike and the Moonpies will play The Mohawk.  Doors at 10 pm.

WORLD MUSIC NIGHT sponsored by KUT

This week’s offerings are Naga Valli, Vanessa Lively, and Frederico7.  It’s at Momo’s, doors at 8 pm.  Cost is $5, $3 for students.

101X/Flashback Lunch Present: The Psychedelic Furs, She Wants Revenge

Sunday, July 4th

4th of July Celebration at Seaholm Power Plant

From the promoter: A 4th of July Celebration that is free to the public which will benefit local nonprofit Anthropos Arts.  Set downtown at the Historic Seaholm Power Plant, this will be the most ideal location to view the fireworks while taking in a lineup of some of Austin’s most exciting up and coming musicians all while enjoying ice cold beer, libations, BBQ, Tex Mex, and more from some of Austin’s favorites.  Onsite valet parking is available show is all ages and family friendly.

This FREE celebration will feature music from T Bird and the Breaks, The Bright Light Social Hour, ‘Til We’re Blue or Destroy and more!  It starts at 4 pm.

Willie Nelson‘s 4th of July Picnic

Willie will be there, plus Asleep at the Wheel, Del Castillo, Kris Kristofferson, Los Lonely Boys, etc.  See the whole lineup here.  Doors open at 11 am.  Tickets are $55 and you can buy them here.

Bob Schneider‘s 4th of July Bash with Quiet Company

Doors open at 7:30 pm at the Nutty Brown Cafe.  Cover is $16.  Fireworks show at 10 pm!
