Summer Solstice Music Jam

If you’re in the mood to produce your own music today, celebrate the first official day of summer with some Austin hippies at Zilker Park beginning at 7 pm.  Free swimming at Barton Springs starting at 9 pm.

Tuesday, June 22nd

Tool

The enormous prog rock band will be at the Cedar Park Center tomorrow night.  Doors at 8 pm.  Tickets are sold out, so check Craigslist if you’re interested.

Watchout! Theres Ghosts, Starluck, and The Pulse Electric

Hey, if you can’t get into Tool, but are in the mood for hard rockin,’ this show at Red 7 could be your teenage-laden alternative.  Doors at 9 pm, cover is $5, $8 if you’re under 21.

World Music Night sponsored by KUT

Go shake your thang tomorrow at Momo’s for KUT’s ongoing World Music Night.  Playing this week are Arthur Yoria, Manga Rosa, and The Batikum.  Cover is $5 or $3 for students.  Doors at 8 pm.
