Austin City Limits Music Festival Line-Up Released

May 18, 2010

Late tonight (several hours ahead of schedule), USA Today dropped the bomb on the ACL Festival line-up due to come out tomorrow morning.  Once the news hit the Twitters, there was no hope for keeping it a secret, so C3 (the organizers of the festival) wisely bumped up the release time to midnight…just a few minutes ago.

USA today leaked the headliners: The Eagles, Muse, Phish, The Strokes, M.I.A., Flaming Lips, LCD Soundsystem, Spoon, Vampire Weekend and Norah Jones are scheduled to perform in the top spots.  The full line-up includes other big names like Band of Horses, Monsters of Folk, Gogol Bordello, The National, The Black Keys, Broken Bells and Yeasayer.  Check out the rest below and pick up your one day tickets tomorrow at 10 am!

Much more discussion to happen tomorrow, but let’s hear some first reactions.  What do you think of the headliners?  Are you satisfied overall?  Go!  And don’t forget to come back tomorrow to see who I’m excited to see, who I’m giving a chance, and who’s just “no way”!

I’m definitely satisfied. It’s going to be a good year. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for less rain and/or less sewage-mud than last year.

I know I’m suppose to be honeymooning, but you know I had to check for the ACL line-up, and I slept for 12 hours! J is still asleep. I’m digging the lineup. Definitely some cool bands coming up. And yes let’s please hope for less rain/sewage or at least let me be prepared so I can sport the zebra rain boots Target has. I thought the lineup wasn’t suppose to be released to like 10am or something like that to your previous commenter.
