Hey everyone!  We put together a short video of the clips we took at the Massive Release show last Friday night at Encore and wanted to share it.  After I had spent the previous two weeks barely sleeping and thinking far too much, the night was much more about having a good time for me than playing music blogger, hence the lack of a review.  BUT, you can still relive pieces of the Murdocks, Stereo is a Lie, and Quiet Company’s performances, or see some footage for the first time, by checking out this video.

Make sure you watch it in HD and tell me what you think. Who was your favorite band of the night?  Our small group was pretty torn.  Did the Black and White Years rock or disappoint at 1 am?  And why was the VIP keg tapped so early??  Discuss.

I thought Murdocks were pretty cool. Stereo is a Lie was also good, and their bass player was on a panel that was interviewing me for a job last week, so … you know … that’s interesting. Quiet Company obviously rocked their own party.

But the Black & White Years just didn’t do it for me. I know it was late when they went on, but the show just seemed lazy, for lack of a better way of putting it. And considering how drunk and ready to dance the crowd was, all they had to do was point to the stands and put their weight into the swing.
