Sunday, September 27th

Jon Dee Graham, Erin Ivey

Bonafide Austin legend Jon Dee Graham plays with everyone’s favorite dry cleaner spokeslady, local musician (and soon to be Austin Monthly cover girl) Erin Ivey at the Continental Club.  Doors at 8 pm, cover is $12.

Lamb of God, Gwar, Job For A Cowboy

If you don’t make a regular habit of checking out these artists websites, you should because some of them are terrific.  For a good time, start with Gwar’s.  And the video…wow.  You can’t really ask for more than that at a concert, can you?  These bands will be at the Austin Music Hall (where else, right?) at 8 pm.  Tickets are $40.35 and you can buy them here.

Michael Jackson Dance Party

This is going to be a cool event.  It’s at The Highball, the newest Tim League venture, and soon to be the among best bowling/karoake/entertainment venues in Austin.  Buy a ticket here for $5, and help Austin reclaim the title for the most people dancing to the Thriller choreography in the world.  It starts at 10 pm.
