Explosions In The Sky, Octopus Project, Wooden Birds

For my money, this is going to be the best 4th of July show in Austin.  It’s at Stubb’s at 8 pm, but it’s all sold out.  Score your tix on Craigslist.
Check out this interview with the makers of the Octopus Project video “An Evening with Rthrtha” at SXSW!

Sunday, July 5th

The 39th International Festival-Institute at Round Top

The Festival Institute at Round Top hosts their “Annual Patriotic Concert” at Festival Hill.  Concert begins at 3 pm and tickets are $20-$30.  Festival Hill is an amazing location; check out this mini-doc of the organization!
